Yes, the trailer is automatically recognized. Together with the simple RFID registration via app, the whole process is child’s play.

No, our device can currently only be used in Switzerland. It was developed specifically for Swiss requirements and is not compatible with the toll systems in Germany or Austria. These countries use a different technical system (DSRC technology), which requires special on-board units (OBUs). It is also not currently possible to declare Swiss LSVA with a DSRC device.
For cross-border traffic, it is common to have several toll devices on board. We recommend using our device – tranSvia’s LSVA – in Switzerland and, for example, Toll Collect’s solution for Germany and Austria. This ensures that tolls or LSVA are correctly recorded in all countries.
Vehicle owners register once as business partners of the BAZG on the ePortal. The BAZG will contact them directly by post.
Depending on their driving profile, they select a provider, either an EETS or a NETS provider, and commission them accordingly.
When switching to LSVA III, vehicle owners replace their Emotach devices with new recording devices themselves.
There is no longer any need to send in chip cards every month, as the providers will transmit the driving data fully automatically in future.
Vehicle owners can conveniently access decisions and invoices themselves on the ePortal.
The performance-related heavy vehicle fee, or LSVA for short, is a tax levied in Switzerland on all heavy trucks and transport vehicles weighing 3.5 tons or more. The amount of the tax is based on the weight of the vehicle, the distance traveled, and the emission values.
